BERRY PRINTING COMPANY PRODUCTS ARE FSC® CoC CERTIFIED
In addition to prioritizing customer benefits, Berry Printing Company recognizes its responsibility to the environment and society. To demonstrate this commitment, the company’s Board of Directors decided to implement a production process—from sourcing materials to delivering the final product to customers—in compliance with the FSC® CoC certification.
What is FSC® CoC Certification?
FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international non-governmental and non-profit organization headquartered in Bonn, Germany, founded in 1993 in response to growing concerns over deforestation.
FSC® is globally recognized for its responsible forest management standards, which aim to preserve biodiversity, ensure environmental sustainability, and deliver social and economic benefits.
The FSC® CoC (Chain of Custody) certification tracks FSC®-certified materials throughout the entire supply chain—from the forest to the final customer—ensuring the materials are responsibly sourced.
Berry Printing Sources Only FSC®-Certified Materials
In an era of increasingly scarce forest resources, we understand your concerns about the environmental impact of printed products.
To assure you—and more importantly, to contribute to environmental and ecological protection—Berry pursued FSC® CoC certification as a pledge that all materials used in our production come from FSC®-certified forests.
In January 2019, Berry Printing officially obtained the FSC® CoC certificate. This guarantees that our products are NOT made from:
-
Illegally harvested wood
-
Wood harvested in violation of traditional and civil rights
-
Wood harvested in a way that adversely affects local communities’ economic and social interests
-
Wood from forests with endangered species or high conservation value
With the FSC® CoC certification, you can trust that our products are made from sustainably sourced forestry materials.
This certification is also a crucial standard that enables Berry Printing to meet the demands of European and U.S. markets. We are committed to maintaining this certification to better serve the community and society at large.
